My writer’s notebooks are all over the place as well as my notes. I have many, many notebooks. Today I wanted to briefly mention the importance of having a writer’s notebook nearby for ideas, inspiration and writing prompts, exercises, and freewriting. They become your Idea Sourcebook – a very valuable item, indeed. Take care of these notebooks, and check through them regularly for nuggets of source material.
